NEW Resources for NEW SAINT Carlo Acutis!

***Update- after the death of Pope Francis, Carlo Acutis' Canonization has been delayed. Once a new date is set, I will come back and update all of these printables!

On April 27, 2025, the Church will have a new Saint! This Saint maybe has some things to teach his companions in Heaven- with hobbies like Pokémon, Nintendo, soccer, Spider-Man, and computer programming, we can easily say that Carlo Acutis stands out amongst the thousands of other canonized Saints. But he isn't being raised to Sainthood because of his hobbies. His canonization is due the the heroic virtue he demonstrated during his life, his devotion to Christ as shown to the Blessed Sacrament, and the holiness exhibited during the suffering of his final days.

It's no wonder that Carlo is popular with modern kids- I have three students in my class this year who chose him for their Confirmation Saint. And I'm already getting messages and emails asking if I'll have any resources for his Canonization later this month- you bet I do!

I already have a few resources on the blog for Carlo, but I've updated them from Blessed to Saint. I also made a few new things, including some different styles of a coloring page, an info page with a short bio, and a matching crossword puzzle. (I'm always looking for short intros on a Saint that are accessible to middle grade students, and it's nice to have a matching activity- that's exactly what this is!)

You can find everything linked below, and I also grabbed the list of all the St. Carlo books I have in my classroom if that is helpful!

These are activities that I have shared before, but I've updated the files to say "Saint."
I think that if Carlo knew how he was being celebrated, the first thing he would suggest is for people to check out his Eucharistic Miracles website. This post has an activity to introduce his website, with a worksheet for older kids (6th-8th grade) and younger kids (2nd-5th grade), as well as Spanish versions for both!

And you'll find a simple coloring page with one of his most famous quotes here
(also available in Spanish)
