Yay for Blessed Fulton Sheen! I think the whole Catholic world is now familiar with Sheen's World Mission Rosary, designed during his time as the National Director of the Society for the Propogation of the Faith (now the Pontifical Mission Society) to encourage everyone to remember to pray for the whole world. If you've seen those Rosaries with the different colored decades of red, yellow, white, blue, and green, now you know what they are for! And if you want to teach your kids more about it, here are some new and updated resources, perfect for the Month of the Rosary or any time!
Click here for the World Mission Rosary Booklet, complete with the text of part of Sheen's radio address, a colorable Rosary, and a word puzzle:
Another hands on idea (besides making actual World Mission Rosaries) is making a paper chain rosary like this one, or even cutting up pool noodles to make giant beads!
